Robert Baxley Chief Operating Officer

Robert Baxley was the drum major of his high school band. Now he’s still keeping the beat for our entire organization. From the very first days of Zaxby’s, Robert has marched us forward as our chief operating officer. Originally from Camden, South Carolina, and with a bachelor’s degree in management from Valdosta State University, Robert keeps our operations running smoothly. He has decades of experience in the restaurant trade, working with Hardee’s and several other organizations before joining Zaxby’s as a cook in 1992. Robert is a living example of his own motto that he instills in each member of the brand — “Growth through the development of people.” When he isn’t helping us grow or doting on his wife and children, he enjoys golfing, working out and coaching youth sports. After all these years, he still raves about our Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich “because it’s more than just a meal, it’s an adventure!”
